There has been an idea kicking around my head since mid December. After trolling Pinterest and Facebook, I was inspired. I also had a photo that was inspiring me, I even had a stamp that “matched”. But then it was January, too late for Christmas cards.. and now it’s February. After sorting and browsing my stamps, I discovered I had another stamp that was perfect for my “idea”. (It really isn’t new but..) So gathered up the supplies: water color paper, versa mark, distress ink refills, water brush pen, white embossing powder and a stamp by Unity. You’ll stamp the image first, cover with white embossing powder and set it. Then get your distress inks/refills out and water. I discovered if you spritz the paper first before laying down your color, it will bleed and find it’s own path. AND it was cool! I, then trimmed it down to a 3.5 x 3.5 square, matted with some red Bazzill stash. Added some cute washie I found at Michael’s and poof done! Before I knew it, I had eight cards done!
I hope you like it and thanks for visiting!
