Okay, it’s Wednesday and this blog has been “empty” for a long while. So going to attempt to post once a week and Wednesday seems like a good enough day for new posts. My online friend introduced me to ROLO’s, which are altered Rolodex cards. Each month a group of wonderful women create challenging swap themes. February included “watercolor”. Alfie by Unity Stamps arrived earlier this month and he needed ink so bad! So using watercolor pencils, Alfie was brought to color! I really wanted to push the watercolor challenge, so brought out the distress inks, mini-spritzers and craft mat. I spritzed and dipped white card stock creating a background. Once dry, I used another Unity Stamp, stamping in black ink and embossing with clear embossing powder. Then, it was time to fussy cut. Alfie’s heart was colored with red Wink of Stella and topped with Gel du Soleil (which sets in UV light) sprinkled with iridescent stars. I really like the Gel as it seems to set harder than other glossy products.
Well that’s all for now. Hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by!
